The Beginning
Family oriented company founded at Günzburg. Starting with injection mouldings, mould construction, housing mounting and wiring.
New area
Moved to a new 16000sqm area in Bubesheim (Germany). The production line was accompanied by the first switch-plug combinations.
25th anniversary
120 employees celebrate 25th anniversary as one of the leading manufacturers of plug-switch devices in Europe. Development and production of a 1-3 pole overload protection.
Tripus GmbH Kunstoff and Elektrotechnik
Trading under Tripus GmbH Kunstoff and Elektrotechnik.
Subsidiary in Poland
Founding of a subsidiary in Poland and obtaining of ISO 9001.
BBW GmbH Elektrotechnik
Founding of BBW GmbH Elektrotechnik in Bubesheim, which assembles cable lines and stranded wires for switch construction. Development and production of a small contactor.
Tripus Systems GmbH
Founding Tripus Systems GmbH, the holding for all the subsidiaries.
Polish factory expansion
Expansion of the Polish location to over 3000 sqm of production space. At the same time the Polish subsidiary celebrates it’s tenth anniversary with around 80 employees.
MEI GmbH
Taking over the Märkische Elektro-Industrie Adolf Vedder GmbH & Co and integration into the newly founded MEI GmbH. Among other MEI is the manufacturer for the world market of: main switches, motor protection switches, cam switches, roller switches and many special switches.
Joining Gorlan Team Group
Tripus and MEI are incorporated into Gorlan Team Group in December. The Gorlan Team Group is currently represented in more than 70 countries on 5 continents.
Mei and Tripus fusion
Fusion of the company MEI and Tripus into common core competencies.
5S
Successful implementation of 5S program in Poland production plant.
Strong brand
The economic crisis in 2020/21 was countered by professional action and constant adaptation to new scenarios. A flexible, socially conscious and solidarity-based team contributed to the fact that this difficult time was mastered without major health and financial losses.
